Worked alongside the Multimedia Engineering Team to research, develop and maintain state of the art educational software including Nagwa Exams, Readers, Connect, Studio, Chat, Portals, Whiteboard, and Nagwa.com.• Lead a team to maintain and develop new features for Nagwa Exams and Nagwa Readers• Created both Email and SMS Microservices as to update the Nagwa Notification System• Helped build the backend of Nagwa Exams App using AWS Lambda Functions and API Gateways (.Net Core 3.1)• Amended the Backend of Nagwa Readers App with the favoriting, logging, user management, featuring, series, and comics features (PostgreSQL, C#, ASP .Net Core, HTML, Js)• Developed a 3-stage reprocessing and transcoding environment for all Nagwa Educational videos that helped save over 72% (150k EGP) of the price of using third party transcoding services (.Net Framework Console App, FFMPEG, Codecs, MSSQL)• Helped create a desktop application for Nagwa Connect App (Electron, HTML, Vue.js, Rest APIs)• Participated in creating web reports and admin control interfaces to revise apps content development and track user-app interactions (MSSQL, C#, ASP .Net Framework, HTML, Js)• Contributed in designing and updating several video creation workflows including Nagwa Studio, Whiteboard, Educators and Connect

• Helped rearchitect Nagwa Video Builder Tool using OOP and FFMPEG to help create videos from raw data in an efficient manner • Created a video delivery network for Nagwa.com that included a gateway, a custom lite media player, and a viewing analytics system• Developed TTS and STT speech tools that helped pave the way for Nagwa Studio video translations and Nagwa Readers narrations• Researched NOSQL and open-source Relational DBs to study the feasibility of migrating from Amazon RDS to cheaper alternatives• Created a HTML SVG Player to animate Nagwa Whiteboard SVG files• Developed an Angular based media player to provide real-time viewing statistics and session analysis on the front-end, then process and reflect the data in the form of reports using .Net and SQL on the back-end• Researched the plausibility of moving from SQL to NOSQL databases, for big data projects. Used AWS and Amazon EMR to setup and install NOSQL databases like Cassandra and HBASE. Developed .NET applications to perform basic database functions, search within and migrate data to the selected NOSQL database.• Tested and modified several Open-Source Platforms based on WEBRTC technology, alongside setting up signaling and TURN servers, to help build an online conferencing service

Trained within the Sales Engineering team to provide BMS solutions tailored for various clients including compounds, hotels and hospitals- Received and efficiently analyzed various clients’ Building Management System (BMS) enquiries- Designed complete BMS solutions and performed a costing exercise to estimate the solutions’ prices based on the clients’ enquiries. After which I prepared competitive offers and sent them to the clients- Attended internal sales meetings to discuss the offers, solutions’ sales pipeline and management expectations - Prepared a competitive BMS solution that was accepted by an important contractor. This helped build a new partnership that will improves Siemens’s presence and competence in the BMS market in Abu Dhabi

Worked as part of the Advanced Wireless Technologies team to study and develop more efficient techniques of cooling Remote Radio Heads- Helped outline an experiment to evaluate the cooling performance of solid and vapour chamber heat sinks- Designed 3D models of different cooling systems, using CREO parametric, and held CFD and CHT analysis to determine their theoretical cooling performance.- Modeled and built a fully functional, 3D printed, wind tunnel experimental facility that helped test and evaluate vapour chamber heat sinks’ cooling performance for different fluids. - Designed a feedback and control system, using MATLAB, that helped control the wind tunnel - Acquired and plotted thermal performance data that showed an agreement with the theoretical predictions and helped determine the most suitable refrigerant and the quantity required for optimal cooling performance

Worked alongside a group of master students within a research group that holds numerical simulation and experimental studies of convection heat transfer in supercritical fluids as related to the cooling of fuel rods in Generation-IV nuclear reactors- Translated a data-acquisition and control program from a LabVIEW™ software platform into ANSI C platform independent language that will allow custom sampling and faster processing of acquired heat transfer data - Sampled and plotted heat transfer and flow data from thermocouples, pressure transducers and flowmeters that aided in the testing process of the data-acquisition software - Designed an analog circuit to control pumps’ VFDs, actuator valves, and a transformer current output circuitry, in place of the LabVIEW™ software control part, that will help direct control of output signal- Assisted in assembling an R-134a experimentation loop in the Mechanical and Aerospace Thermal Hydraulics Lab, while maintaining professionalism and following the lab safety precautions and guidelines.
