As an intern at MY Constructions on the Casa Mia project, a G+13 3 BHK Residential Apartment spanning 6900 sqft, I immersed myself in the multifaceted world of construction. Our team of six tackled various aspects of the project, providing me with a holistic view of building construction.Key learnings included foundational work, critical for structural integrity. I gained practical skills in leveling with line dori and experienced shuttering for beams and columns, essential for shaping structural elements. The intricacies of beam bottom making and slab casting offered insights into the building's skeleton, while mastering the cutting lengths of TMT rods for reinforced concrete enhanced my technical acumen.The finishing stages, such as plastering and tiling, underscored the importance of aesthetics and durability. Site management was a daily exercise in coordinating activities and resources efficiently.A significant focus was Green Building Technology, which opened my eyes to sustainable construction practices vital for environmental responsibility. This knowledge was complemented by in-depth learning in Material Management, ensuring efficient procurement and utilization of resources.Safety and Risk Management were paramount, teaching me the importance of adhering to safety protocols to minimize risks. Quality control was another critical aspect, with hands-on experience in concrete testing, including the Slump Cone Test and cube tests, ensuring the concrete's workability and strength.My internship was not just a job but a comprehensive learning journey, providing a 360-degree view of the construction process. The skills and knowledge acquired here are invaluable, shaping me into a competent professional in construction management.

As an intern at MIT Loni on the IT Establishment Building project, I was part of a team of six, delving into modern construction techniques. Our work ranged from foundational tasks using laser-leveling technology to intricate processes like slab construction and TMT rod measurement.My role involved hands-on experience in foundational work, a critical phase for structural integrity. This included laser leveling, an essential skill in ensuring precision and stability. In constructing slabs, I gained comprehensive understanding and practical skills in this crucial aspect of building construction.Working with TMT rods taught me the importance of accuracy in measuring and cutting, key for both structural strength and material efficiency.
