This effort seeded Satori, Microsoft’s Knowledge Graph as well as numerous search and discovery experiences in Bing that exploit and use knowledge and semantics. * Conducted research and prototyped Knowledge Extraction pipelines from varied structured and semi-structured content to build and verify the Knowledge Graph, Ontology-driven graph query generators for Natural Language Questions to enable Knowledge Graph search and discovery, and Entity Classification for Mood and Mode for use in Activity Recommendation Systems (e.g. Restaurant Recommendation) that enabled social and contextual discovery experiences. * Contributed to design, build and release of Bing Finance - the first finance "decision engine" - a search experience driven by a smart knowledge base. This included entity graph discovery and stock picker/recommendation tool to discover similar stocks or based on non-conventional metrics like better value stocks, better growth stocks, etc.
