I worked with a team of students and professors to organize recruitment events. My role was to help students, clubs, and the department to effectively communicate with potential students within the university, high schools, and other colleges. I worked on projects to define the recruitment position, consolidate the marketing strategy and brand image, and bring the program in line with the university wide growth goals. I was responsible for an expense account and budget for activity expenses.

My primary project was analyzing historical sales data and predicting inventory quantities for stock agriculture boxes. I was also exposed to scheduling, design, and customer service departments. I spent time riding along with sales reps during customer visits and cold calls. I was able to work with the VIP audit team for two weeks during the summer evaluating money saving options within a customer’s facility. During these audits we evaluated machine timing, water usage, material usage, load planning, and among other cost saving areas.

I worked with a team of interns on continuous improvement projects throughout the office. I gained experience Impact CAD & Adobe Illustrator through the design department. We completed ISO based audit of the customer service and manufacturing manual audit. I assisted in the manufacturing facility and gained knowledge of the corrugated sheet plant machinery.My main project was working in outreach to the community and throughout the plant. I designed and distributed trash boxes though out the community to non-profit organizations and events to increase visibility and promote the sustainability of corrugated. Within the facility I organized and presented three monthly activities to promote communication, teamwork, and cultural connection. After the primary internship ended in August 2014 I continued to work as an inventory control on Friday.
