Experienced healthcare simulation director, with a broad base of experience across all facets of healthcare simulation as well as experience as faculty with my primary focus in administration over the past 7 years. I am currently finalizing my doctoral thesis in change management, which has allowed me to further develop and fine tune my business and leadership skills. Simulation is in a constant state of advancement and change, aligning with my passion for organizational development and leadership focused on quality assurance and operational efficiencies. In my career, I have had the opportunity to expand simulation centers and develop our current project from the ground up as a new simulation center. A key area of focus in my career has been curriculum development and design, with a focus on individualizing solutions to meet organizational and individual needs. I have expanded this type of work to deliver presentations at conferences, participate in research to further the field of simulation, and provide content expertise for professional development of simulationists through our professional organizations. I have begun to take on leadership positions within these organizations and look forward to continuing to expand my focus here following completion of my doctoral degree. My administrative experience over the last 7 years, coupled with my business education and professional development efforts, have expanded my expertise to ancillary units. From an operations standpoint, my experience as an executive directors translates to most administrative and c-suite type roles. As an example, I have worked extensively in contracts, partnerships, external relationships, and human resources related roles including professional and organizational development, employee types, etc. I enjoy applying these skills within contracted roles, allowing me to operate in my area of passion with consulting and organizational development.Skilled in Clinical Research, Medical Education, Medicine, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Public Speaking.
