I started my career as an RPG programmer developing banking software and moved up through the ranks to become a business analyst and project manager. From there I moved departments to customer support where I spent several years talking to customers, analysing problems and fixing software defects before moving to a support leadership role. I was instrumental in setting up an offshore operation in Manila to take over the bulk of the support work on a 24*7 basis.In 2007 my focus switched to the revenue operations side of the business where I became responsible for reducing revenue leakage through license compliance auditing and maximising billing by ensuring that software contractual terms were precisely followed.Since 2012 in addition to my BAU activities I’ve largely worked on projects to integrate acquired businesses onto an enterprise platform based around Salesforce and Netsuite. This has involved understanding business requirements, migrating data, defining and running test cases and training and supporting staff through the changes.I am at my happiest when solving problems, finding workarounds for system limitations or building reports, dashboards and spreadsheets to analyse data and support process improvement. I enjoy working independently and coaching or supporting colleagues within and across teams. I thrive on having lots of variety, change and complex challenges and I’m always calm under pressure.
