I began my Federal Contract Management career in 2013 when I was given the opportunity to take a Contract Specialist position at Army Contracting Command, Rock Island Arsenal (ACC-RIA) in Rock Island, IL. This on-site support contractor position developed me into the professional that I am today. It was through my work supporting the Reachback Devision at ACC-RIA that I found my career niche and I never looked back. From ACC-RIA I took a position at Oshkosh Defense, one of the leading wheeled tactical vehicle manufacturers in the United States. I spent nearly a decade at Oshkosh Defense learning contract management and negotiation skills from some of the best in the industry. It is with the expertise that I gained at Oshkosh Defense that I advance my career to the next level with the brilliant and innovative team at Draper, a world-class Defense and Aerospace Research and Development leader.
