I love business. The ability to make improvements in peoples' lives gives me a lot of satisfaction. I have worked across a number of industries and I have been lucky enough to make some large efficiency gains at every stop. Nothing makes me happier than taking a manual process down from 45 minutes to 5 minutes. Technology can do great things for business and for Winnipeg. My goal, where ever I go, is to make a positive and lasting difference to the people I work with and the companies I work for. I thrive in areas that are looking to improve and change. Currently, I am in charge of two amazing companies helping property owners protect the value of their properties. Our services extend the life of parking garages, parking lots and foundations to defer expensive and extensive repairs. I may have a tendency to repeat myself, as my employees can often repeat my mantras before I say them; “I hate inefficiencies” and (when someone comes to me with a problem) “What do you think?” I want my employees to be the best versions of themselves and I want my companies to be the best at what they do. At the same time, I look to challenge myself to be better as well. I’ve had some personal and professional adversity that made me question my direction and made me a better person for it. I don’t have all the answers, even if my daughters think I do, but I’m sure willing to find them. I still think I have lots of room to grow. I have both an undergraduate and an MBA, and I highly doubt the MBA will be the last bit of education I take.
