Currently, I work in the accounting department at Binswanger Glass Company. I interned with them throughout college and I am very grateful to have accepted a full time position. I reconcile accounts and build monthly analysis reports for various people. I enjoy building spreadsheets all day and I couldn't ask for a better job. The reports I run help upper management run our business more efficiently. What I plan to gain from my experience at Binswanger is to learn the accounting roles in an organization. I graduated from the University of Memphis in 2015 with honors in accounting. I plan on going back to school to complete my Masters. Not only do I focus on my work life but I enjoy helping the community. I was involved with volunteer work throughout my college experience. Some of the program's included MILE program and Tigers Getting Involved. I have volunteered for river clean ups, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Memphis Athletic Ministries and worked with Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association. According to the Strengths Finder 2.0 Assessment, my top 5 strengths include: Consistency, Harmony, Responsibility, Includer, and Relator. What I bring to the table in this competitive job market are my biggest qualities: I dominate in consistency and staying focused. You can always count on me to make a great educated decision and I'm willing to give back to the community.
