As a software engineer at pidalia, my day to day responsibilities including managing and developing on LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stacks. Front-end development consists of HTML/CSS/jQuery. Aside from your common web development project, I’ve also become familiar with PDFLib, which usage ranges from generating one page PDF documents for the web, to generating multi-thousand page documents fed by large data sets.We have also utilized Node.js to serve as a private REST API. Node.js handles most of our back-end for iOS/Android applications. Because of the nature of Node.js, it is very simple to extend our platform to browser based clients using JSON encoded communication.
