Sales Engineer

Japanese Manufacturing company.It mainly deals with the manufacturing of pipe fittings (CS, SS and AS) to Oil and Gas, Construction companies across the U.S, Canada, Europe, Middle East and the South East Asia.▪ Spearheading the registering and logging of all enquiries received in database, evaluating received RFQ/tender document and acknowledging the same in 24hrs TAT.▪ Managing preparation of competitive & effective quotation as per client requirement while adhering to company policies; collaborating with procurement department for technical queries & clarifications.▪ Maintaining technical quotations as per technical & commercial requirement alongside coordination with relevant departments to ensure that proposals prepared for inquiries and tenders are in compliance with required terms & conditions.▪ Visiting new & existing clients, obtaining enquiries, preparing quotations with regular client’s follow-up, recommending changes, along with product improvement.▪ Preparing cost estimates, accessing project scope, managing internal disciplines, conducting meeting with Sales Team to share market status and requirements.▪ Negotiating contract terms, submitting monthly reports including booking forecasts and monthly highlights while promoting company product into market.▪ Designing successful sales techniques & strategies using customer and market feedback; analyzing & maintaining sales volume, product mix and selling price by assessing changing trends, economic indicators & competitor’s matrices.▪ Implementing distributor-specific sales plan and programs as required by the business; enhancing channel-base by building business relationship with clients.▪ Monitoring the performance of Sales Team by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, cyclical sales meetings, sales newsletters.

▪ Preparing cost estimates by studying customer documents and consulting with the Manager.▪ Reviewing all customers inquiries to understand project scope while managing internal disciplines to compliantly respond. ▪ Conduct meeting with the sales team on regular intervals to share the market status and requirements.▪ Negotiating contract terms to meet both client and company needs.▪ Submitting monthly reports, including booking forecasts and monthly highlights.▪ Promoting company product into the market.

▪ Preparation of HVAC cooling load calculations as per ASHRAE FUNDAMENTAL. ▪ Preparation of HVAC duct layout drawings as per ASHRAE standards.▪ Worked on HVAC Equipment Schedule, Air Flow Diagram.▪ Prepare Air Flow drawings, read and review AutoCAD Drawings.▪ Preparation of HVAC, Plumbing and Firefighting BOQs.▪ Worked on selection of HVAC equipment.▪ Supervision of Irrigation Piping Network.▪ Installation, selection, supervision of Firefighting sprinklers, pipes, fire extinguishers, FM 200 system as per different NFPA code requirements.▪ Prepared and reviewed engineering specifications, scope of work, schedule of payments and other documents.▪ Controlled site engineering activities to maintain work standard, adhere to timeline and meet quality assurance target.▪ Liaised with company executives and project managers to acquire resources to move project forward.▪ Completed daily construction tasks while providing safe working conditions, staying on budget and meeting project deadlines.ELECTRICAL:▪ Preparation of Power layout drawings Autocad.▪ Preparation of Low Current, Single Line Diagram.▪ Panels Schedule & its relevant calculation.
