I’ve been incredibly fortunate to lead a career that has been an eclectic mix of both Sales and StrategyStarting at Facebook I went into their Global Sales (Enterprise) division managing strategic clients like Adobe, Oracle and Salesforce. Upon moving back to Austin I transitioned from Facebook into WP Engine, a much smaller company with a big heart. I had a blast starting in Sales at WP Engine, but also thoroughly enjoyed data analytics, often taking on extracurricular projects for the Sales team such as territory planning and rudimentary account scoring. Eventually, the business asked if I’d like to build models full-time, and I was delighted. For the past 2 years I’ve had the pleasure of working with amazing Sales Operations folks, bringing strategic data analytics to leadership, managing models for reporting, and driving business change especially in our Sales org. What makes me unique is the wonderfully deep skillset I’ve acquired in my past experience as a Program Manager alongside my tactical experience being a Sales rep and hitting quota. I know how to take concepts like forecasting, planning and DBT models, and use them to drive business results in the tactical, hands-on realm of Sales.
