Intervening in crisis situations through mobile outreach response in tandem with a behavioral healthcare clinician. Interviews clients, performs assessment and crisis interventions, creates individual crisis plans and provides case management by making linkage and referrals. Reaches out to post intervention clients to perform follow-up. Responds to crisis outreach immediately and is on-site of the crisis within one hour of receiving crisis outreach call. On-call as needed. Providing supportive peer counseling and advocacy services to persons who display a need for emergency psychiatric screening services from Screening Crisis Intervention Program (SCIP). Providing peer-based and focused case management to consumers. Providing short term follow-up to consumers and collaborating to provide linkage to various community-based resources and supports that will aid in a consumer’s personal wellness and recovery. Sharing and utilizing knowledge of mental health challenges and substance use concerns from a personal lived experience perspective and the services available in the community.

Supporting and supervising up to 7 full-time equivalent staff, reviewing and maintaining documentation in accordance with PerformCare and county-funded billable documentation regulations, intake and assessment supervision and documentation, contacting and collaborating with referral sources and care team staff to ensure best possible care, providing peer support and recovery support services, supporting individuals in assessing program eligibility, training, human resources, employee care and retention, scheduling, weekly supervision meetings and clinical supervision meetings, providing all services in accordance with OMHSAS and PCB regulations and Human Services Code of Ethics, outreach, customer service and relations, case management, working alongside Children and Youth caseworkers to support individuals in reuniting their family unit, family counseling, individual counseling.

Led and trained a team of 8-10 staff members at any given time, heavily customer service and sales based.
