Major responsibilities include:During my role as Projects Manager at Korra-Energi Egypt from 2020 to 2022, I had several key responsibilities. I managed multiple projects across various industries, including Oil and Gas, Medical Factory Complexes, Petrochemicals, and Refineries, ensuring streamlined processes and efficient resource utilisation to support business case development and project initiation and execution in an integrated environment. I oversaw the project budgeting process, maintaining precise profit and loss records. To enhance efficiency, I streamlined project processes by implementing a project management software platform. My key duties at Drake and Scull Intl:In my role as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Procurement and Estimation at Drake and Scull International in Saudi Arabia from 2012 to 2015, my responsibilities included receiving and verifying complete project documents, such as the scope of work, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), drawings, equipment schedules, instructions to the tenderer, recommended manufacturer lists, responsibility matrices, design concepts, and details. I oversaw the preparation of RFQ (Request for Quotation) packages and managed the evaluation of supplier quotations, considering capacity, quantity, and specifications. I conducted in-depth analysis of quantities and maintained relationships with suppliers. Additionally, I collaborated with engineers to revise project cost estimations and actively negotiated material prices with suppliers and subcontractors.Some of my contributions:- Improved teamwork flow through continuous development of tools and techniques.- Attained best price with high-quality matching requirements by negotiating with vendors for contracts and POS.
