Cyber Security Lead
CurrentAustralia’s most diverse broadcaster, the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) is a modern, multiplatform media organization with a free-to-air TV portfolio spanning five distinctive channels and an extensive radio network providing 68 communities with services in their own language. Key Result Areas: Working as a lead consultant and managing: o Infra and Network Security - Designing Secure On-Prem/Cloud Infra solutions; Patching servers with Tenable IO as well as managing Cisco ASA & Checkpoint Firewalls o Cyber Security - Conducting vulnerability risk management & assessments, and providing Security Incident Response using Splunk Enterprise/ SIEM, and Internal/ External Pen Testing Leading the internal projects for technical change management for internal networks, infrastructure, and application enhancement Coordinating with the auditors for re-assessment of the ISMS project with ISO 2700x for information security audits Holding weekly meetings for patches; patching the servers to manage downtime. Highlights: ❖ Planned and implemented Security patching of all the servers in the office at least once to resolve OS-level vulnerabilities ❖ Proposed & initiated the installation of an email filtering system, SIEM, and end-point security to avoid any further security threats
