The Active After-School Communities (AASC) program was developed by the Australian Sports Commission with the aim to create an inclusive environment for primary school aged children to participate in a number of different sports.I had the opportunity to run two blocks of 7-week programs, teaching both hockey and cricket to kids aged between 5 - 9. The ultimate aim was to encourage participation in a different sport, whilst promoting the benefits of participating in physical activity.
