E-CommerceWell, it has been a great experience in working closely with the owner Dr. Abbas Qutab, directly. I started off as a Digital Marketing Consultant and immediately assigned the project to launch the e-commerce division for the company. So, from social media management I started working on product development and now I have successfully launched exclusive product range on the largest online market place, Amazon. The results have been amazing and beyond expectations. When I graduated from College, I was lucky to get appointed as a Project Manager at Vohra & Saigol back in Sep 2011. The mission was to launch a fashion brand in the rapidly growing retails industry from scratch with stores at multiple locations across the country.I took upon the challenge and we started off with exploratory research followed by surveys. This helped us in finalizing the niche and analyzing the market potential.My role was to supervise the entire process as the project head and this included, product sourcing, marketing strategy, operations management, custom software development, recruitment and training of team, potential store locations and lease agreements, interior designers and contractors shortlisting and finally the launch of each store.The entire journey had been very interesting and full of learning as it involved a wholesome experience of building not just a brand but an organization from the very beginning.I and my team were successfully able to launch 10 stores at most premium locations nationwide and we were honoured to take the business into sustainable position within first three years of the launch.
