ONE LOVE-JORDAN, a Compassionate Care for the Orphans & Vulnerable Children in Jordan who saw the light in March 2011 by Faten Al-Malky, the Jordanian-French founder, started with her vision of: “I am not to blame if there are vulnerable children in this world, but I will be if I do nothing about it”. Regardless their race, religion or skin color, "We are all ONE, and have enough LOVE to all". She has been helped although this time by her family, friends and team coming from all nationalities, religion and ages.ONE LOVE team is first of all friends of the orphans, we bring them hope, care and love and the chance to have a day out outside the orphanages to visit and enjoy places just like the other children. We provide health care, clothes, activities and food distribution to the families in need, (widows raising children), and more.These are children who suffer daily just through their daily life, we don't choose our lives so we speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves and giving them what they can't receive from a parent.OPEN HANDS Ramadan project has two main activities: 1) Distribute food packages to the widows and families in need all over Jordan, to the cities like Dheil, Karama, Salt, Mafraq, Azraq, Karak, and the refugees' camp.2) Organizing iftars to the orphans from the orphanages, orphans of war and from all around Jordan. "The world will never change with closed hands, only hand in hand, we can make a change!"

Programme Coordinator - Mitigating the impact of the Syrian refugee crisis on vulnerable Jordanian host communities Responsible for delivery of a micro-equity programme to fund and incubate 80 microbusinesses in three disadvantaged regions in the North of Jordan (Mafraq, Ramtha and Irbid), working with vulnerable Jordanian host communities suffering the effects of the ongoing crisis in neighboring Syria. Following a careful selection process to identify the most promising business ideas, the Fund provides financial and technical support to successful applicants, enabling aspiring entrepreneurs from marginalized communities to turn their small business ambitions into reality. Funding is provided via an equity-based partnership model, supported by strategic value add services such as business training, mentorship, marketing, legal and accounting support. Our approach is centred on knowledge transfer and capacity building – we work closely with entrepreneurs to support their efforts in creating sustainable micro-businesses that will grow and create additional job opportunities in the medium term. A collaborative project between the private sector, the United Nations Development Programme and the Government of Japan, the programme aims to stimulate local economic development and foster entrepreneurship in disadvantaged regions of Jordan. The programme will establish 80 micro-businesses and create over 240 jobs in the coming year.
