Experienced Traditional Labor and Employment Attorney with a demonstrated history of representing small, mid-sized, large, and international employers. I help employers plan and prepare for potential issues related to their relationships with their employees. The goal is to avoid disputes, but sometimes disputes are inevitable. In those times, I collaborate with my clients to create and implement plans to overcome challenges and build and repair their relationships with their employees. With respect to my traditional labor practice - I assist employers in achieving a positive workplace where employees are respected, enjoy open communication, and feel an important part of a team. I guide companies who are targeted by union campaigns, help them respond to NLRB petitions, avoid the pitfalls that too frequently are found in such situations, and work with them to achieve their goals. I also engage in collective bargaining and negotiating resolutions with unions. I also represent clients before the NLRB, in Federal Courts, and in arbitrations regarding claimed violations of the National Labor Relations Act or breaches of collective bargaining agreements. With respect to my employment law practice - I navigate employers through equal opportunity in employment laws. I also represent employers before the EEOC and the Nevada Equal Rights Commission on a variety of issues related to discrimination, harassment,, and retaliation. Additionally, I represent employers in state and federal court on claims related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wages, breach of contract, and non-compete agreements.
