Played a key role in the startup of Trans-Environmental Services, a new environmental services provider in the Dallas/Fort Worth Market. Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations which include vendor identification and management, facility and equipment permitting, equipment specification and purchasing, P&L management, new revenue growth and customer account management, recruiting, hiring and employee training, EPA, TCEQ and DOT compliance and project management. Responsible for all marketing activities, including managing the company’s sales staff, cold calling, and cultivating new business through ongoing customer relations. Responsibilities also included preparing or reviewing all quotes, identifying and managing disposal costs through vendor management and project management. Additional duties included:· Ensure there is an appropriate final destination for hazardous waste and manage off-site shipment of hazardous waste for reuse, recycling, and disposal;· Identify acceptable subcontractors for off-site transport and disposal of hazardous and industrial wastes;· Coordinate hazardous and industrial waste management activities by consolidating, when necessary, customer’s hazardous and non-hazardous waste using TES’s 10-day facility;· Coordinate with customers the management of hazardous and industrial wastes generated by same;· Maintain the hazardous waste tracking system;· Prepare regulatory reports related to hazardous waste management;· Ensure that each employee involved in hazardous waste management receives proper training;· Ensure that each employee involved in hazardous waste management performs his or her duties in compliance with proper hazardous waste handling and management procedures;· Assist employees in properly characterizing waste, providing waste identification numbers and labeling for hazardous waste containers and items.

My duties as Parts Cleaning Product Manager were to develop Safety-Kleen’s solvent and aqueous parts cleaning business line for the continental U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico. This was achieved through grow existing market share by developing business plans and national campaigns that allowed Safety-Kleen branch facilities to gain market share and positive revenue growth. I worked closely with the procurement and supply chain group in developing forecast and cost structures.

My duties as Manager of Auto Body Development were to manage and develop Safety-Kleen’s Auto Body business line serving the Automotive Collision Repair Industry for the continental U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico from the corporate level. A more refined list of duties included growing existing market share and positive revenue growth by developing business plans for new products and services, developing cost models, part numbers and pricing for implementation into the Safety-Kleen branch network. I worked closely with both domestic and international vendors in the development of packaging, labeling and the distribution of new products.
