Medical Doctor as background, graduated in Law, earned the University Master's degree in the practice of Law, member of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) and Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe (CIPP/E), I have worked in the areas of sales, marketing, medical affairs, general management, and compliance.During the last two years, I am working as Sr. Director Regional Compliance Officer for Europe & Canada in the Pharmaceutical Industry (Biogen) leading a Compliance Team that supports a 4 Bio USD business generated by 21 countries and 2 business units. Previous five years I worked as Associate Vice President (AVP) & Regional Compliance Officer also in the Pharmaceutical Industry (Merck Co Inc.) with responsibility for Europe Canada Middle East and Africa. In both companies, specific focus in the areas of FCPA/Anti-bribery (policies, training, monitoring and self-audits), investigations, due diligences of third parties, risk assessment, data analytics and data privacy. Before I worked as Regional Medical Director for Europe Canada Middle East and Africa for three years where I built the Medical Function in the Region including the MSL Team. The previous seven years I was the Managing Director for the Greek subsidiary at Schering Plough Pharmaceutical Company with full P&L responsibility.I have always worked in multinational companies, American and European (Biogen, MSD, Schering Plough, Sanofi, ASTRA).
