SLEEP TECHNOLOGIST: Perform diagnostic PSG, CPAP Titrations, Auto Servo Ventilator Titrations, MSLT,and MWT sleep studies Prepare and manage the patient assesment for the ordered study to be performed Properly and successfully fit the patient with a mask to complete the treatment for the diagnosis of sleep apnea Successfully score the studies to be read by the physician to help diagnose and treat the patients Educate patients on the procedure expected to be performed CPAP TECHNICIAN: Educate and train patients on how to properly operate their CPAP m achines and clean their CPAP machines Fit new and existing patients with masks, and supply them with replacement supplies needed Desensitize patients with clausterphobia issues Instruct patients on how to use the apnea link, and and auto titration machines Download the apnea link and auto titration machines and peovide the results to the physician to help aide in the treatment of the patients sleep issues Verify and pre authorize patients insurance needed for the sleep study Schedule sleep studies and over see the sleep study schedules along with the Sleep Disorders Technical Director Help the Technical Director to order masks needed for the sleep lab and the office and also help with the employees schedule Assist the patients via telephone with minor issues regarding their CPAP machines Order DME equipment for the patients from Home Healthcare companies and make sure things are taken care of for the patients
