As a Senior AI Engineer and Researcher on Model Foundry VisionAI, I help create new capabilities across businesses while also exploring the realm of possibilities in AI with a bias for computer vision. In a recent client technical challenge, I architected our initial GCP infrastructure, created a development process for the team, and built a poc that utilized self-supervised learning for anomaly detection on x-ray imagery. Our success in the technical challenge directly contributed to securing a multimillion/year (up to 5 years) AI project for the firm - first project of this caliber in AI and Tech for the firm. I also lead our surveillance and computer vision SDK/AI accelerator workstreams where I serve as the technical lead and project manager for both. I am currently enjoying my time in the self-supervised learning and vision transformer rabbit hole.

Deloitte’s Model Foundry (MF) is an AI research lab that creates capabilities across businesses through analytics, technology research and application development. MF’s Vision AI builds computer vision solutions centered around artificial intelligence and software development.As a Applied AI Engineer / Computer Vision Engineer on Model Foundry VisionAI, my goal was to make computer vision possible and fun for everyone at Deloitte! I was the lead developer of our computer vision (CV) SDK that empowered others with the ability to design, test, and compile CV-based solutions while easily training deep learning models. I led the surveillance work stream that utilized both AI and CS algorithms to secure areas of interest. The surveillance solution had been demoed to various AI executives and prospective clients. I was the creator of our deep learning environment for investigating cutting-edge algorithms. At the lab, I wore many hats, everything from leading AI/DL projects to rescuing AWS EC2 instances to managing the development server to deploying on UTGV and other edge devices.

Deloitte’s Program Integrity (PI) drives program efficiency and effectiveness through improved payment management. PI’s Pallium: Anti-Fraud Enterprise Solution software helps organizations combat and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.As a Data Scientist on two sub-teams (Data as a Service and Machine Learning Operations) of Pallium, I supported the productionalization and automation of AI/ML models and various analytics processes enhancing our anti-fraud enterprise solution software. My projects included: leading the design, development, and implementation of an ETL pipeline for a new client where I engineered everything from scratch; building and automating a data quality check pipeline; and supporting our pipeline migration initiative by helping build a new analytics Kubeflow pipeline that reduces cost while increasing performance.

The Technology, Law, & Security (TLS) Program tackles the challenges and opportunities posed by rapidly changing technology - offering innovative and practical approaches, influencing policy, and training the leaders of tomorrow.Working in a start-up program, my job is to adapt to the program evolving needs so that we can better serve our constituents. Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to: researching on emerging technologies, analyzing the functionalities of various technologies, delving into technology related policies, marketing strategy and implementation, grant and proposal support, database management, logistics and event coordination.

American University Washington College of Law (AU WCL) is home to the Nation's Top-Ranked Programs.I led the faculty support team, the backbone of AU WCL's renowned legal education. We provided assistance on many levels so that our faculty can better prepare future lawyers.

The ABCI Institute is a non-profit organization headquartered in Washington, D.C. Although its primary activities are conducted in the United States, the institute has been involved with the organization of trade-related events in Brazil, such as conferences, seminars and the annual publication of its collection of articles.I redesigned ABCI's convoluted accounting process and developed a new user-friendly accounting system to commensurate with their needs and existing resources. Additionally, I championed the implementation of the new system by providing technical and accounting training to the Chairman and Treasurer.

Viet-Ame is a private law firm serving the Vietnamese, Hispanic, and other minority communities in the areas of PI, immigration, criminal, and family law.I wore multiple hats while working here. My main role was to oversee the office operations, marketing and development needs. I also oversaw many aspects a case life-cycle including negotiating settlement, managing deadlines, collaborating with attorneys to craft court and settlement documents, and searching databases for past cases and statutes. Essentially, I took on any task that is required to keep the firm afloat.
