My main research topics revolve around turbulence, computational fluid dynamics and its combination with machine learning (ML) techniques. I have experience in applying ML to enhance/correct turbulence models.Currently I continue working on this research topic but I am also working on low and high-fidelity simulation and modeling of non-Newtonian turbulence.I also have moderate experience working with research on plasma physics, particle-in-cell methods, hypersonic flows and computational simulations of rarefied/non-continuum fluid mechanics, using Direct Simulation Monte-Carlo.I am especially interested in turbulence modeling, machine learning, computational fluid dynamics, data science, numerical methods and programming in general. I really enjoy getting to know new cultures, places and people. My hobbies are playing and listening to music, working out, reading, watching movies and tv.
