Design is a language all to itself; my years of education and experience have taught me this important fact. From beginning at the University of Michigan- Dearborn learning instructional technologies to finishing my Learning Design and Technology master's, to starting my first instructional design role: I have been able to combine design thinking and iterative design practices to design, develop, and deliver projects and programs to help others run better. Creativity and collaboration are the cornerstones of design, allowing for solutions larger and more impactful than the sum of their parts. From designing an online training simulation for my three student teammates, to co-creating a leadership development course for hundreds of people within an organization; I made decisions and took action to ensure the needs of the learners were met every step of the way.
