🌿 Exploring Nature, Science, and Culture Together 🌍Hello,I'm Mette Thybo, and I've been involved in creating experiences that connect nature, science, and culture by creating work environments where amazing people thrive. Over time, I've also secured significant funding to support the growth of attractions like Naturama and Fjord&Bælt.🏛️ CEO Experience: Since 2015, I've been the CEO of two places: Naturama, a natural history attraction in Svendborg, and Fjord&Bælt, a marine attraction in Kerteminde. These places have allowed me to combine scientific research with storytelling to make complex ideas understandable and enjoyable for everyone. I've successfully raised more than 100 million DDK through my efforts to enhance and expand these attractions.🧭 Leadership Roles: Beyond these attractions, I've been involved in leadership roles. I've been the chair of one board, a member of three others, and contributed to the Identification Committee at the University of Southern Denmark. These roles reflect my dedication to promoting nature, science, and culture.🔍 Pursuit of Knowledge: I studied at Zürich and Aarhus Universities and have gained experience from various places, including the University of Southern California and the Institute of Directors in the UK.🚀 Achievements: I've held positions such as CEO of the Capital of Children Company, a partnership between the LEGO Foundation and Billund Municipality, and Development Manager at Væksthus Syddanmark, where I focused on growth and innovation. I actively worked on the development of the new Naturama in Svendborg back in 2001-2007.🌟 Join Me: I'm journeying to unite nature, science, and culture. Svendborg og Kerteminde har begge fokus på udstillings- og uddannelsesvirksomhed samt forskning inden for biologi. Der har siden 2012 været et formaliseret samarbejde med sigte på en egentlig fusion. Naturama er et bredt og statsanerkendt naturhistorisk museum, www.naturama.dk. Fjord&Bælt, www.fjord-baelt.dk, koncentrerer sig specifikt om livet i de indre danske farvande, specielt marsvin og andre havpattedyr.Since August 1, 2015 I have become the director of Naturama/Fjord&Bælt.
