AYAT Education is a social enterprise that aims to improve the quality of life and enhance the socioeconomic development of youth and marginalized communities. We do it through providing health education, skills development training, job placement services, safe skilled migration, and policy advocacy campaigns. So far, we have trained 3,600+ students in nursing, caregiving, and vocational training and placed around 2,200 youth in leading organizations in different sectors. AYAT Education is comprised of multiple wings—AYAT College of Nursing & Health Sciences, Dignifying Life (Palliative Care) Program, AYAT Care (caregiver service), AYAT Care Training Institute, AYAT Skill Development Center, AYAT Network, and AYAT Career Development Center. My major responsibilities at AYAT Education include organizational development, operational management, and strategic partnerships development.

• Leading the implementation of a three-year-long Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) and UK aid-funded "Youth Leadership for an Inclusive and Prosperous Bangladesh" project • Supervising a four-year-long IKEA Foundation and Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (EKN) funded "Creating sustainable and prosperous futures for Bangladeshi youth" project

• Providing strategic and operational inputs in designing, developing, and implementing various online and facility-based youth leadership development projects• Administering systematic organizational development through process improvement and ICT interventions (i.e. mobile-based data collection, automated inventory management system, data warehouse)• Preparing and managing program budgets• Supervising the day-to-day operations and administrations of various teams including Program Execution, Admissions, IT, Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation (RME), and BYLC Graduate Network (BGN)• Recruiting new human resources and ensuring capacity building of team members through continuous on-the-job training • Leading the effort for alumni engagement and continuous leadership learning of BYLC graduates• Developing and managing innovative approaches for knowledge documentation and sharing• Conducting internal monitoring and impact evaluation for all programs and making data-driven interventions for programmatic improvements • Conducting social science research for producing new knowledge and bridging the gap between theories and practices

• Co-founded www.autopilot.life (in beta stage), an online-based free personal task assistant• Identified market opportunities for business growth and strategic partnership development

• Conducted information process flow analysis of Lebanon PCHR project for mHealth intervention• Interviewed project stakeholders including physicians to develop requirement specification• Designed medical algorithms for noncommunicable diseases like Diabetes and Hypertension• Designed multiple “User Interface” for clinicians to collect refugee patients’ data in Lebanon

• Researched information process flow in the Helping Babies Breathe (HBB) system and conducted a feasibility study for incorporating a mHealth system for increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the system • Designed and developed a mobile health (mHealth) platform called mHBB to collect real-time training and monitoring data using smartphones • Trained project staffs (Doctor, Nurses, and IT Manager) on using mobile and web-based data collection tools, designing mobile-based data collection tools, data management, analysis, and visualization• Monitored the project implementation remotely and modified the online data collection tools as needed

• Jointly designed a USAID funded ($25 million) project for “Agricultural Extension Capacity Building Activity” (RFA-388-12-000006) in Bangladesh where ICT is the key component for strengthening agriculture extension services for poor and vulnerable smallholder farmers experiencing food insecurity, with priority given to women farmers• Conducted baseline research & designed research framework for impact analysis study of Community Health Worker (CHW)-based mCare project (jointly with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Bangladesh)• Designed & conducted impact analysis study of mobile technology & CHW-based “Breast cancer case-finding” project of International Breast Cancer Research Foundation, University of Toronto, Amader Gram & mPower• Designed mobile algorithms for CHWs to collect patients’ data, web-interface for Doctors to view patients’ EMR and provide medical advice and treatment, & web-interfaces for Management to monitor and follow-up patients timely• Directed a short video for "Grand Challenges Canada" competition on “Mobile Health Solutions for Breast Cancer Case-Finding, Referral & Navigation in Rural Bangladesh” project, which finally won $100K competition. Also, directed another short video to screen on cell phone to motivate patients for free breast checkups and availing regular treatment for breast problems• Jointly designed & developed a mHealth system for Sajida Foundation’s micro health insurance program in peri-urban areas which covers MNCH care, diabetes, asthma and TB for 15,585 beneficiaries by only 6 CHWs, 1 Medical Assistant, and 1 remote Doctor • Designed & conducted a baseline study, and operational M&E for mHealth projects with Sajida Foundation, Friendship, and BRAC• Assisted administrative & operational units through project proposal and MOU writing, project budgeting, training manual development and technical document preparation (e.g. user story)

• Conducted a comprehensive policy research project entitled “Realizing the Vision of Digital Bangladesh through e-Government” funded by CIDA• Organized two round-table discussions- “Scope of PPP in Land Related Citizen Services using ICT" and “Future of eHealth in Bangladesh”, where eminent experts and professionals have participated along with ICT and Health Ministers in respective discussions

Managed an outsourcing company in Bangladesh that offered high quality web services (e.g. web design, custom backend development and marketing strategies) for US-based clients.

Conducted a short project on open & distance learning in microfinance training and education entitled “e-Learning: Window for Microfinance”. It was a comprehensive study on different e-Learning models and methods available globally, problems and solutions of electronic learning, and scope for microfinance industry to enhance the financial activities i.e. SME & MSME to the remote areas at low cost.

• Worked in the Comprehensive Disaster Management Programme (CDMP)- a multilateral project initiated by UNDP Bangladesh• Conducted a field-based research project during the internship period entitled "Livelihood Adaptation to Climate Change: Occupational Changes in Four Coastal Upazilas”• Prepared a concept paper entitled “Development of Multipurpose Riverside Embankments and River Centre in Bangladesh” as a part of the academic senior project

• Major duties were project tracking, monitoring, preparation and submission of Expression of Interests (EOIs) for different projects around the world funded by GOB, WB, ADB, IFC, IDA, USAID, DFID, SEDF, JICA, and UNDP• Developed the corporate relationship with local and international consultancy firms and NGOs

Assisted in conducting two market research projects of Nestle, Bangladesh and BSRM Steels Ltd.
