• Jointly designed a USAID funded ($25 million) project for “Agricultural Extension Capacity Building Activity” (RFA-388-12-000006) in Bangladesh where ICT is the key component for strengthening agriculture extension services for poor and vulnerable smallholder farmers experiencing food insecurity, with priority given to women farmers• Conducted baseline research & designed research framework for impact analysis study of Community Health Worker (CHW)-based mCare project (jointly with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Bangladesh)• Designed & conducted impact analysis study of mobile technology & CHW-based “Breast cancer case-finding” project of International Breast Cancer Research Foundation, University of Toronto, Amader Gram & mPower• Designed mobile algorithms for CHWs to collect patients’ data, web-interface for Doctors to view patients’ EMR and provide medical advice and treatment, & web-interfaces for Management to monitor and follow-up patients timely• Directed a short video for "Grand Challenges Canada" competition on “Mobile Health Solutions for Breast Cancer Case-Finding, Referral & Navigation in Rural Bangladesh” project, which finally won $100K competition. Also, directed another short video to screen on cell phone to motivate patients for free breast checkups and availing regular treatment for breast problems• Jointly designed & developed a mHealth system for Sajida Foundation’s micro health insurance program in peri-urban areas which covers MNCH care, diabetes, asthma and TB for 15,585 beneficiaries by only 6 CHWs, 1 Medical Assistant, and 1 remote Doctor • Designed & conducted a baseline study, and operational M&E for mHealth projects with Sajida Foundation, Friendship, and BRAC• Assisted administrative & operational units through project proposal and MOU writing, project budgeting, training manual development and technical document preparation (e.g. user story)
