I have over 36 years of information technology experience. I started my career as a business analyst and progressed to Chief Technology officer. I have extensive experience with all major databases such as Oracle, Vertica, Netezza, Microsoft SQL Server, Hadoop, and MySQL as well as AI. For the years of 1999 through 2005, I taught Oracle and security courses at Southern Methodist University technology campus in Plano. Over the last ten years, I have been extensively involved in designing and implementing big data systems and machine learning projects. For example, I was directly involved in the architecture of the software that loads 120 billion records daily into Oracle and Vertica. I want to take these insights I have gained over the years and combines them with my strong business experience to effectively change the way an organization approaches big data challenges using machine learning.
