As the OAC, I will be in charge of making programs on the challenge course happen! I’ll be hiring, booking, and making sure the course is up to ACCT standards.

Challenge Course Manager for a middle school adventure camp called Pathfinders Adventure Camp.Worked with 30+ staff and middle school students ranging 5-8th grade.

- Lead boys ages 8-17 on the ropes course.- Ensured that all participants using the course elements had a safe and rewarding learning experience.- Performed a wide variety of task, including risk management, high ropes maintenance, responding to course rescues.- Ran a static course using CLiC-iT Adventures

Working with Naturalist from all over the USA teaching 5-6th graders outdoor science workshops in accordance with the New Generation Science State Standards. Also taught team building, and lead horse rides as well.

• Outdoor Guide for 2nd- 9th grade students from Southwestern Connecticut/ Southeastern New York with diverse backgrounds. • Ensured all components of program area where met by Connecticut State Health, that the clients where safe.• Lead day programs that involved: hiking, canoeing, caving, rafting, kayaking, geocache and tubing • Lead campout trips for middle school students in New York/Massachusetts.• Ensured that Leave No Trace was practiced and taught at its best practice.• Served as EMT | Lifeguard | Photographer

- Wilderness First Responder Certified ( NOLS) • Worked with coed 7-8th graders in a high adventure mountaineering program.• Lead 14,000 ft. peak climbs with Middle School students while teaching them “Leave No Trace” and best practices. • Supervisor, Facilitated and debriefed groups on the high ropes course, 30 ft. climbing gym, and our 25 ft Tower.• Planned and executed group initiative programs for varying age groups.• Evaluated counselors on their performance with campers.• Worked with 2nd-5th grade boys in cabin.• Outdoor Educator for 100 Elk Outdoor Center leading school age programs for the Denver/Boulder/Pueblo areas

Coach a group of 1-2 grade boys (15 total) and taught them how to play soccer which is a native sport for me since I grew up in Europe most of my life. I also had an assistant coach and most of the parents were supportive.I coached Monday and had games on Saturday. This was a volunteered position and was asked by the Town of Parker. They had heard of my ability to connect with youth.
