Which is to say that the sun is indeed at one of the foci of elliptical planetary orbits, but Kepler and no one since ever identified the source of gravity at focus 2. Science includes a leap of faith that there is no secondary source of gravity. This means that there is no physical reason why planetary orbits are elliptical. The simple resolution to this problem is that Kepler couldn't identify the source of gravity at focus 2 because he was standing on it.Newton's Law of Gravity is also not empirical in the way that it is used to calculate the mass of the sun. The the only way to derive a mass for the Sun of 1.9 x 10^30 Kg is to assume heliocentricity. If you assume a Geocentrospheric system the mass of the sun is smaller by a factor of 9.87^-12 Kg.Stellar Parallax cannot be used to prove that the earth orbits the sun, because the earth orbiting the sun is an assumption required in stellar parallax. The other assumption in stellar parallax is that the stars are distant suns, but it is impossible to prove this without having already assumed it.The gravitational constant is an assumption based on circumstantial evidence. I have written a new definition for gravity that reflects a change in understanding the causal link between mass and gravity. Gravity is not proportional to mass, as science believes. Gravity is created, and mass is proportional to gravity. Newtonian physics and relativity are now irrelevant, although science remains intact and the Bible is true. FYI this means that hell really is at the center of the earth and there is a great gulf of empty space between hell and the lower mantle. Show less

I didn't know what it was called at the time, but I guessed that there would be such a thing as the Inverse Square Law.
