At the YMCA Play and Learn Preschool in Long Beach, I completed 90 supervised internship hours where I was able to gain a hands-on experience working in a child development setting. I was able to use my knowledge gained through my Child Development courses, at California State University, Dominguez Hills, to adapt to the ever-changing environment. At the YMCA I worked with two lead teachers to provide lesson plans and conduct daily activities with the students.
