Worked with Founder / CTO of Terapeak on consulting projects for Inkfrog (acquired by Wix) and Flytographer. Development of Shopify and Wix integrations for Inkfrog platform. Creator of a virtual reality app for remote working that is now available on the Steam and the Oculus stores.

Led a small team of data engineers responsible for the integration of new data providers into the Terapeak platform. We developed data processing jobs in Spark and Kafka and deployed on an AWS cluster. Development also included workflow management, job scheduling, and data retrieval within a distributed cluster with many nodes.

Led a team responsible for consistent operations of data processing and data acquisition ETL jobs. Rewrote legacy data acquisition jobs from Perl to Python utilizing a distributed systems architecture.

Developed ETL jobs for ingestion which parsed raw eBay and Amazon data, joined data based on primary key, and loaded to Elastic in a common schema. Built tools to easily operate and deploy data stores and ETL jobs to various machines.

Implementation of analytics for the measurement of social media which helps brands gauge the effectiveness of their campaigns. Worked with data analysts to devise key performance indicators that aggregated vital metrics through data mined from social media web services. Part of several teams that developed web applications, most recently working on the measurement package for the Syncapse platform. Was also part of the launch of a large social networking site developed with the help of a customized Jive SBS platform.

Developed open source content management web application called ATutor that aims to further classroom engagement by creating a site where students and teachers could interact in a fully dynamic web environment.
