A) Recruitment and Onboarding- Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract qualified interpreters for over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) services.- Superivsing and improving a range of screening interviews to evaluate candidates competence and suitability for the roles.- Designing and overseeing the onboarding process for new OPI interpreters, including orientation, training, and ongoing support.- Coordinating with the training and quality assurance team to provide training programs and resources to improve the quality of interpretation services and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.- Collaborating with other teams and project managers to develop and maintain interpreter schedules, manage workload, and ensure adequate coverage for client needs.- Managing the OPI onboarding mailbox through my team and assigning shifts and setting up email reply protocols to ensure maximum efficiency in handling interpreters' emails.B) Vendor Management- Building from the ground up a solid team of vendor managers to handle the US-based OPI vendors hired by the OPI onboarding team.- Maintaining continuous follow-up with the OPI interpreters who are in the clearance process to ensure they fulfil all USCIS requirements and pass the clearance process so they can start taking USCIS calls.- Proactively dropping unresponsive USCIS interpreters who are in the clearance process to ensure maximum effeciency.- Engaging with the OPI interpreters continuously through different platforms such as ConstantContact, HeartBeat, and others to maintain an effective relationship with them and ensure they have clear channels to direct any feedback or queries.- Following up with the billing team to ensure the resolution of any payment issues for the interpreters.- Managing the OPI call queue through my team and assigning shifts and setting up call protocols to ensure maximum efficiency in handling interpreters' queries.

Expanding the MENA hub that I previously built into the EMEA hub to include Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. I single-handedly built the EMEA and SEA hubs from the ground up, where I recruited, onboarded, trained, and managed a large team of 75+ translators, editors, over-the-phone and virtual interpreters, and others. As the hubs leader, I fully managed and covered 45+ EMEA/SEA languages including but not limited to Arabic, Mandarin, Russian, Korean, French, Vietnamese, Urdu, Ukrainian, Burmese, Farsi, Dari, and many others, overachieving the company's profit margins and fulfilment rate KPIs.

Single-handedly built from the ground up a hub in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) where I sourced, recruited, interviewed, onboarded, trained, and managed a group of vendors providing all sorts of linguistic services such as translation, over-the-phone interpreting (OPI), video remote interpreting (VRI), DTP, QC, transcription, etc. in all the languages of the MENA region including Arabic, Amharic, Somali, Swahili, and others. I was selected to be on-loan performance manager for three months due to showing superior performance in my Operations House (6 teams of 8 to 12 each) in Vodafone UK account. The job included managing a team of 8 to 10 members, managing their performance and motivating and coaching them to reach best performance.
