The major responsibilities are as under. Provide Technical assistance to designing the different rating of Distribution Transformers (Prototype) according to the WAPDA and IEC standard. Verification of design parameters through the transformer testing at In-house laboratory as well out-sources (Rawat/UET Lab). Designing workable scheduling and timelines to catch up on deadline of delivery schedule given by the GM. Production. Quantity estimate and compiling BOQs (Bill of Quantity) according to Transformer Design. Prepare Technical Data Sheet & Costing Sheet of Distribution Transformers. Analysis of planned v/s actual time taken for manufactured Transformers, identifying the gaps and nullifying the gap by close discussion with subordinates. To control the rejection and failure by controlling the process through strict inspection in each stage and to maintain the record of daily production, reworks and rejections. Ensure all the jobs are being done according to shop floor drawings. To assign the work force duties according to their abilities to get maximum output and to control and organize the workforce of Section. Calculating necessary raw material usage according to next month’s orders. Erection, installation and commissioning of machinery in all floor shop. Provide technical assistance when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during and after the implementation of transformer design.
