Founded in 2012, Pakistan Media Monitor is a pioneering media monitoring platform deeply entrenched in the ever-evolving media landscape of Pakistan. Our online product, Open-Source Media Monitoring System (OMS), covers Pakistan through 42 categories daily. These categories span from critical areas like security and terrorism, politics, economy, and military defense, to intricate details of Pakistan's diplomatic relations with regions across the globe, including Europe, the Americas, China, India, Afghanistan, and many others.As the founding director, my journey has been an exhilarating blend of challenges and accomplishments. Every day, I am motivated by our mission to offer nuanced perspectives, facilitate informed decision-making, and contribute to the more extensive dialogue around Pakistan's role in the regional and global context. My role extends beyond mere leadership; it fosters collaboration, drives innovation, and ensures we remain at the forefront of media insights. I dedicate part of my time as the Executive Director at the Center for Social Education and Development (CSED). CSED is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as a Section 42 nonprofit company. The organization focuses on Community Engagement, Climate and Education, Microenterprise Development, and Dialogue and Culture.I lead the processes from conceiving the ideas to negotiating and implementing the projects and submitting the final reports to the donors. As of June 2023, CSED has won and implemented 18 projects and has worked with international organizations, such as USAID, Norwegian Church Aid, Development Alternatives Incorporated, US Institute of Peace, Oxfam, Department of State via US Embassy, Islamabad, US Consulate General, Karachi, US Consulate General, Peshawar, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, UNFPA, UNDP, UN Women, UNAIDS, ILO, et al.
