Working since 1993, Akram, the Founding Director of Pakistan Media Monitor (2012), brings over three decades of multifaceted experience across diverse spheres, including social affairs, politics, development, and media in Pakistan.During his professional experience, he has worked on projects with various national and international organizations such as the Japanese Embassy, US Embassy, US Consulates in Karachi and Peshawar, USAID, USIP, ILO, UNDP, UNFPA, UN Women, Oxfam GB, ICMC, Norwegian Church Aid, DAI, Oxfam Novib, IOM, NDI, DRI, FES, et al.Akram is a graduate of Mass Communication from the University of Punjab (1993). A regular rugged-long walker, he resides in Islamabad and loves reading South Asian fiction and political history.
