After Shopgo's Acquisition by Mawdoo3, I have been assigned the responsibility of managing all operations for Shopgo 50+ clients infrastructure, maintenance and feature development.

With Shopgo I have been exposed to the MENA e-commerce industry, designing and implementing solutions for different types & sizes of business, helping startups, big multi-country brands, and B2B sellers by providing them with the tools and integrations needed to sell online. My responsibilities range from front-end to back-end activities taking ownership of both production issues and new features. my work involves working as a system administrator, developing extensions, code customization, security & performance monitoring, troubleshooting performance issues and optimize existing code. Achievements : 1) Improving ShopGo's main website usability by enhancing user-facing features including the registration page by fixing the validation UI, mobile appearance and developing a new pricing page that simplifies decision making by enhancing price representation, reduce the number of call-to-action buttons, adding visual cues and improve package navigation on mobile view. 2) Introducing verified by ShopGo initiative which led to increasing brand visibility.3) Improving ShopGo's base installation by refactoring, enhancing the performance and the security of the main platform that is used by our customers. 4) Reducing cost by cutting on the expenses of unutilized infrastructure components, and proactively reporting costs & optimization recommendations.5) Setup the development staging environment which provides a sandbox testing area & URLs for our top clients. 6) Knowledge documentation & process standardization between the development and support teams 7) Increase infrastructure, services, and application availability & stability by implementing effective log monitoring mechanisms, implementing failure recovery automation and perform frequent cleaning & hygienic work.9) Initiate foreign-internship program which brings fresh and new perspective views to the company

Trevx Started as an audio search engine company (B2C) in 5th of January 2015, in two years we managed to grow the platform horizontally by introducing Trevx in different languages on different platforms (Play Store, Chrome Store and Windows Store) and vertically by increasing the use cases of the platform (Sound Effects, Audio Books, Podcasts, Audio Articles and Music).During my previous role at Trevx, I have witnessed our product being built from scratch to reach 700,000 active users and 9 million pages views. with all the technical requirement to scale the provided service. I was engaged in the company investment management and gained the experience of allocating capital and managing the company’s annual budget alongside working with a highly skilled technical team. In 2016, we invested in a game development company called "Mummified Robot", and launched "Shoot the cloud" game.In 2017, we changed the direction of the company into a podcast listening platform, with a focus on a podcast content discovery and personalization. RESPONSIBILITIES Technical responsibilities: Acting as a solution architect; designing and operating the infrastructure running Trevx, including database solutions, search algorithms and making decisions regarding third-party tools & integrations. Daily technical work has been around LAMP Stack, Backend Development, Server and database administration. with focus on search & findability which includes personalization, recommendation, and discovery.Managed different cloud infrastructures under DigitalOcean, Amazon AWS, and Microsoft Azure, from building it from scratch to scaling it into multiple servers & layers (Application, Staging, Database, CDN, Load Balancing).

Owned and managed Mubhost Inc, a website design and hosting services company, where I acquired 3 years of experience in the field of Web Development and the B2B sector. By running a service business, my focus was on making sure that we meet customers needs & expectations; before, during and after we make the sale.My role included building and working with the sales team and working side by side with the development team on big projects. Developed a systematic approach for projects requirements gathering, which helped in productizing and automating the service we deliver, it also helped in estimating the time and the cost of the projects we accept. Launched a resource investing program, where we invested in startups by providing them with the needed resources and technical help, Mafhoom forums was one of the program investments. Launched "Your website is your message program" a social responsibility program, to provide NPOs and NGOs with websites and provide them with the needed technical help to have an online presence. We had an extensive experience with hosting management platforms and domain name providers such as Cpanel & WHM, Plesk, Name.com and GoDaddy. Ha2el.com [Ha2el = هائل] means enormous or massive in Arabic. it was an Arabic web portal, that included general purpose forums, a web directory, resume listing and creation tool, Flash gaming platform, desktop software directory, books platform and a chat room. The site also provided micro services such as weather data, Scientific Arabic calculator and conversion tools.Ha2el Started by merging two online forums, then the vision has evolved to build the destination for the Arabic online user.
