    Ph.D. Research Experience
University Of North Carolina At Charlotte Aug 2015 - Apr 2020
    Charlotte, Nc, Us
In my previous role as graduate research assistant, I developed nanoparticle-based therapeutic and imaging modalities for pancreatic cancer and breast cancer. I established novel targeted stimuli-responsive nanoparticles for co-delivery of Gemcitabine and cisplatin, MSN-based platform for delivery of tumor stroma-modifying agents, having an amazing therapeutic performance in pancreatic cancer mouse models. I designed and made sub-20 nm MSNs as a potential multi-functional nanoprobe for early diagnosis of PDAC and other cancersSome of My Key Contributions: ✪ Designed and investigated nanoparticle-based sequential therapy in multi-targeting of cancer cells and cancer stem-cells for improved triple negative breast cancer therapy.✪ Structured and enhanced dual-targeted MSNs for transport across BBB using 3D microfluidics BBB model. ✪ Executed in vitro and in vivo targeting and therapeutic efficacy analysis in panel of cancer cells, syngeneic, and transgenic mouse models. ✪ Improved high-capacity and pore-size tunable MSNs for multi-functions delivery of drugs, peptides, and nucleic acid agents.
