So, here's a summary of some of my proudest accomplishments:FE Tech Lead of a project that reduced the number of tools needed by internal content management teams by 50%. This core efficiency win saved teams 6060 hours and $201,000, annually.Designed, specced, and executed on a new tooling architecture that enabled other lines of business to adopt, extend, and reuse our tooling to fit their business needs. Early adoption increased the company’s driver activations and generated $1.55 million in annual PMM.Increased agent efficiency by adding image support to outbound messaging flows which allowed them to send image messages to riders and drivers in-app without switching to email.Collaborated cross-team with other engineers as well as Product & Design+ to deliver on roadmap objectives. Wrote tech specs for said objectives and delegated work to junior engineers.Conducted SEV post-mortems, responded to pages, and fielded questions from external team members as part of on-call duties.Helped develop talent by mentoring junior engineers.

As a Graduate Assistant at St. John's University, I primarily assisted Computer Science & Data Science professors with their research.I established Machine Learning workflows for data analysis and predictive modeling on an NVIDIA Jetson Nano GPU. I also set up a psychological experiment within Open Sesame utilizing an EEG device for the collection of brain activity data.Besides research, I also developed software for some professors. First, was a gamified, e-learning web application used in Graduate courses at the university. Second, was a poly-pharmaceutical Android application that highlighted drug-to-drug and drug-to-food interactions.I also tutored Computer Science to undergraduate students, as well as assisted Data Science graduate students with their capstone project.

During this internship, I got the opportunity to work as a Frontend Engineer on Lyft's Associate Tools team. The objective of my project was to migrate an internal tool from Google Scripts into the Lyft architecture for improved maintenance and scalability.Throughout the project, I refactored the application into modern React using TypeScript, added unit tests and logs for observability, and introduced a React Context to handle complex state management within the software.I also implemented ACL Roles and Policies to control user access as well as determine a user's permissions within the application. Moreover, I created API endpoints in NodeJS that communicate with third-party services such as Contentful.Each deliverable was deployed independently in an agile development environment.
