I co-founded Zouk Tea Bar and Grill in 2006 with my brother Tayub Amjad with the vision of refreshing Indian and Pakistani cooking for the health conscious diner with a menu and atmosphere infused with vitality, fun and passion. Our ambitions are to have a Zouk restaurant in every major city across the globe.

  In 2006 I started Zouk Tea Bar with my brother Tayub Amjad after being inspired by my father’s successful restaurant business.Zouk Tea Bar delivers authentic recipes with a modern twist in our restaurants in Manchester City Centre and Bradford.We’re inspired by the variety of food and stylish settings we’ve seen on their travels across Morocco and the Indian sub-continent, so we have used this to create Zouk’s menus.My role at Zouk is Creative Director is to bring my passion for food to the menu and seek out techniques from my travels across the globe. For the Zouk menu we create a melting pot of delicious meals inspired by my trips from Lebanon to Hong Kong and the Middle East.
