-Work with vendors to determine a reasonable rate and to coordinate the timing and means of delivery.Handle any related to vendor service, such as poor product quality or delivery delays.-Find solutions to budget limitations, vendor errors, and other problems as they arise.-Track orders from placement through delivery.-Seek out ways to save money on the procurement of goods and requests budget increases as needed.-To perform coordinating, reviewing, cataloging services of Spare Parts Data Package (SPDP) and deliver a complete structured descriptions of equipment, general supply, spare parts and link the Equipment & Bill of Materials (BOM) to Proponent’s plan.-Review SPDP from Vendors or Contractors, to ensure all back up / supporting documents required from OEM / OCM for proponent.-Raise Interchangeable Parts (ICP) review sheet to the vendor or manufacturer until the SPDP will be acceptable for cataloguing as per SAEP 31.-All spare parts from OEM / Supplier is matching without any discrepancy according to Company Cataloguing Procurement Guidelines.-Issue an acceptable review sheet once all documents required for cataloguing are completed.Build and train a team on development of Spare Parts Data Package (SPDP) contents.

-Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high-quality products at competitive pricing.-Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.-Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analyses and supplier preference study.-Define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data.-Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of the final product.-Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets.-Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies and procurement strategies in purchasing to secure better prices.

-Analyses technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, manufacturing limitations, supplier facilities, and availability of parts and equipment.-Interviews supplier representatives regarding specifications, costs, inspection, and similar problems relating to parts and equipment.-Investigates potential suppliers as per approved ARAMCO Vendor list and recommends those most desirable.-Responsible for preparing RFQ’s and commercial agreements while evaluating supplier proposals and/or quotations submitted to implement sourcing decisions to ensure commercial/operating alignment on corporate supply objectives.

-Coordinate with contractor, vendors, and personnel in order departments to discuss and formulate estimates.-Analyse the documentation to prepare time, cost, material and labour estimates.-Set up cost monitoring and reporting system and procedure.-Review material and labour requirements to decide whether is most cost-effective to purchase components.
