I am working as incharge of Signalling Systems at Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation.Lucknow Metro Signalling Systems are based on Alstom's Urabalis 400 Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) System.I am looking after design activities,planning and execution of the Signalling System over Lucknow Metro.

I was looking after Design and standardisation of Signalling Products like Metal to Carbon Relays,Train Warning Systems,Automatic Fire Control and Supression Systems.I was looking after the quality and reliability aspects of almost all the mechanical and modern signaling equipments being used over Indian Railways.Work included performance,reliability and functional testing of Electronic Interlocking, Dataloggers, Digital Axle Counters,BPACs, AFTCs, etc. I have also worked on a consultancy project ‘Capacity Optimisation and Simulation Tool’ with IIT/Bombay which basically was the development of a tool for computing Railway line capacity and measuring improvements in line capacity with changes in Signalling and traffic patterns and technologies.

Have worked in various capacities over Indian Railways.Commissioned Electronic Interlocking at 03 stations, RRI and BPACs at Southern Railways as Assistant Executive Engineer.Commissioned Trichi station with line 6 at Southern Railways as Executive Engineer.Worked in Signalling Work Estimates and Tendering as Deputy Chief Engineer/Signal at Central Organisation of Railway Electrification.

Worked at C-Dot over ATM PNNI protocol for more than a year.Work involved coding using C/C++ languages.
