My entrepreneurial journey has been a series of pivots, driven by curiosity and a passion for creating meaningful change. After completing my B.Com and pursuing Chartered Accountancy, I realized that a traditional desk job wasn’t for me. During my studies, I discovered the potential of exporting leather products, so I took a leap, obtained an export license, and started my own business. As sales grew, I recognized that entrepreneurship was my true calling, so I made the bold decision to leave the CA midway after IPCC and pursued my business full-time. However, just as things were taking off, the pandemic hit. While demand for my products remained strong, the sharp rise in air freight costs began eating into my profits. This forced me to pivot once again. I wanted to build something more sustainable, both in terms of business and the environment. That’s when I launched Stash N Carry, a firm focused on eco-friendly home and lifestyle products. This venture quickly led to the creation of Skinwoo, a brand that reflects my commitment to sustainability, offering products made from organic and renewable materials. The transition to cotton product manufacturing was challenging, but it was also a learning experience. I immersed myself in new tools to enhance my business operations and content creation.I mastered Microsoft Excel and Office 365 to streamline processes, while Lightroom and Premiere Pro helped me create compelling product visuals for Stash N Carry and Skinwoo. I also taught myself FL Studio and DaVinci Resolve, skills that allowed me to produce engaging content and tell the story of my brand more effectively. These skills weren’t just technical tools—they became the backbone of my brand’s growth. Today, Skinwoo is about more than just sustainable products; it's about creating functional, eco-conscious solutions for modern living. My journey has been about learning, adapting, and building a business that thrives and contributes positively to the planet. I’m always eager to connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about purpose-driven business and sustainability.
