Worked in ONGC, India for 36 years as an IT specialist. Currently, as the National Head Database & I/c Special Projects (Expl.), he's a key player in the planning and provisioning of IT resources at different Exploration data centers across ONGC, he has been responsible, over the years, for introducing several cutting-edge technologies including HPCC, Virtualization, and HCI/VDI, in the exploration domain. Current projects include the introduction of cloud-native technologies in the captive data centers of ONGC, for handling enterprise-wide AI/ML workloads, the next Generation of HPCC, and Data Archival Systems.One of the prominent architects of the Innovative Data Management System – EXPLORE - used for online monitoring and management of Exploration activities across ONGC.Presently responsible for the development of AL/ML and Deep learning capabilities and identifying their scope of adoption across Exploration Spectrum. Also, responsible for strengthening the computing capacity of Exploration Data Centers, including the adoption of cloud-native technologies.Recipient of several local and corporate awards for his contribution to the organization, including the Directors’ Award for Innovative Software Development as well as the Chairman’s Award for Innovation in Knowledge Management.
