Since childhood, I have always been fascinated by technology and how it can simplify and enhance our daily lives.This interest led me to pursue a degree in Computer Science, where I discovered my passion for coding.My journey into the world of Data Science began with my bachelor's thesis in Natural Language Processing. I was quickly captivated by the process of analyzing data, researching & training models, and visualizing the results. This fascination led me to specialize in Data Science during my Computer Science master's program.To broaden my experience in both Data Science and software development, I spent three years as a working student at SET GmbH. During this time, I was able to gain practical insights into these fields.My master's thesis at SET GmbH explored building a tool to assist lawyers in drafting legal texts, using various approaches. This involved creating a benchmark and a set of metrics based on Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT and LLaMA. I implemented various approaches for this task, including ones utilizing GPT-3/4 and LLaMA, for which I developed tailored prompts and fine-tuned LLaMA.This experience showed me the immense potential of LLMs, but also highlighted their challenges.My master's thesis reinforced my desire to pursue a career in Data Science, where I look forward to expanding upon my gained experiences from my thesis, my studies, and my time as a working student.I enjoy collaborating with others in team environments and continuously expanding my knowledge through learning.In my free time, I like to explore my creative side through cooking, tinker with small coding projects and challenge myself in running or at the gym.
