Grey Continent is dedicated to exploring and addressing modern issues facing Africans, focusing on the cultural and political landscape. As a Fundraising Specialist for the Grey Continent Fellowship Program, I am responsible for:1. Fundraising Strategy: Developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to secure necessary funding for our initiatives.2. Grant Research and Proposal Writing: Conducting thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities and crafting compelling proposals to secure funding.3. Fundraising Campaigns: Designing and executing effective fundraising campaigns to engage donors and ensure the financial sustainability of our program.The Grey Continent Fellowship is a three-month online program designed to empower early-career journalists in Africa and the diaspora. Through comprehensive training, mentorship, and collaborative projects, the fellowship enhances skills in environmental reporting and fosters a vibrant, democratic media environment.

1. Working directly with the CEO for developing the unit's strategy and building annual narratives and budgets2. Managing and expanding the 'Grants and Partnerships' vertical3. Evaluation of 100+ NGOs for onboarding as partner organisations 4. Supporting NGO partners with funding requirements, budgeting and proposal development 5. Donor mapping, research and pipeline development of 50+ high impact donors 6. Proposal and Grant development for institutional donors 7. Building and executing a new vertical for Social Accounting and Auditing8. MnE reporting and social impact auditing for projects of partner NGOs - used tools like VMVOA analysis, ToC, Log frame analysis, Impact Maps and Social Return on Investment (SROI)

The OFC builds Feminist leadership in pockets of the world with focus on nurturing value-led social leaders that would go on to radically transform every space they occupy. This journey is envisaged as one of ‘building people and not just ideas’.

1. Direct engagement with rescued victims of human trafficking - Case work. Counselling and Psychological First Aid2. Spearheaded and managed three projects directly attributing to beneficiaries i. Mentoring Project: A 12-week mentorship program where victims directly interact with; and build long term relationships with sensitized professionals from different backgrounds,: focusing on their education and socio-economic development ii. Literacy project: A state-wide literacy initiative with Government shelter homes in Maharashtra focusing on linguistic and finacial literacy iii. 3-D printing project: A pilot project in partnership with Free_D, London to build skills of 3-D printing and jewellery designing (AutoCAD) of 20 rescued women to train them and secure job placements.

Utter is an application that enables people to learn and improve their English language through a chat-based interface.Within three months of joining Sling as an English Tutor, the role developed to 'Head of Quality Check and Assurance'. Analysed the teaching vertical, provided planning inputs and engaged with live tutors for improvement of formats.
