• Taught a class of 40 girls in an under-privileged MCD, government school, located in a low income community• Exercised time management skills by extensive planning of each minute within the class for extracting maximum output in minimum time provided to teach; achieved an average growth of 1.5 years in English; 50% growth in math and 46% of score growth in English writing over the last 1 year• Developed communication skills by giving explicit instructions within class for clear understanding, invested stakeholders of education by breaking down the complex solution into steps, convenient to understand; conducted phone interviews of 2015-applicants• Developed organizational and planning skills by pursuing a yearlong ‘Be The Change Project’ on educating the community about girls’ safety with each week’s plan and its execution for about 500 girls; rescued about 40 girls from the clutches of sexual-child-abuse and spread awareness to the community• Learnt to work under emotional, mental and physical stress like, multitasking between project, community visit, arranging resources/worksheets,after-school TFI meetings,submissions before deadlines and responsibilities as a selection team-member; not compromising on the quality of work.• Practiced empathy and understanding others’ perspective by directing a performance based learning on values & girl-child protection to perform in City Conference held at Vasant Valley School; class was among top 4 out of about 250 classes in Delhi; received extraordinary recognition from fellows as well as staff members• Skilled relationship-building and community engagement by visiting the community/families of students, invest the stakeholders of education and understanding their problems; children raised their voices among thousands of people via India’s first children manifesto, Udghosh, organized by Youth Alliance, 2013
