Ripio is the leading Blockchain company in Latin America's fintech ecosystem.I am a cofounder of the company, where led the initial UX, visual design, implementation of several iterations of the initial product and helped secure the first round of funding. Ripio (originally BitPagos) was part of the Boost.vc accelerator program and a finalist at TechCrunch Disrupt Startup Battlefield 2016.

I led the system UI, safety design and input interaction for the world's first inside-out tracked 6DoF VR headset, the Lenovo Mirage Solo which ran the Daydream VR platform. The product launched to the public in May 2018. See Wired magazine review link below.I also led several experimental features to demonstrate XR/AR (mixed reality) use cases on the headset. These included digital passthrough mode running at 75hz, 2d Android apps in VR and software integration of fully tracked 6DoF motion controllers into the UI and SDK.

I led the redesign of the API Platform section of the Google Cloud Console.I was the first PM on gRPC and took the project from the internal implementation to the public open source launch on GitHub which has now over 30k ⭐️.

Led the web UI development for the world's first consumer light field picture player. Led the architecture and development of Lytro's web light field player with parallax and refocus capabilities which allows users to change the focus and point of view of light field photographs in real time, after they have been taken.

WeGIF is an online community for creating and sharing animated GIFs which I cofounded in 2007. It featured an online editor for combining uploaded images or webcam captures into GIF sequences and a social network for sharing this content and communicating with others.I performed many roles from developing the concept to wireframing, visual design, branding, UX, full stack development, community guidelines, support articles and video tutorials.

Reorganized the development process for Citrix.com web projects and improved collaboration between design, UX, developers and management through new tools, functional prototypes, white papers, and evangelization of best practices. Evaluated page code quality, structure, pixel perfect design accuracy and usability requirements. Guided design and creation of an online standards and UI patterns library for new web development. HTML5/CSS3/JS/Flash development. Developed in Python with the Django framework to create custom tools for the design department.

Part of a hybrid R&D team that created functional prototypes of new UI concepts. Prototyped VH1's embeddable video player. AS2/3 Flash application design and development for numerous high traffic projects. Conceptualized and developed VH1 Photobooth, a pressure sensitive kiosk drawing application. Created motion graphics for the VH1 On Air Graphics (VH1 TV Channel) and VSPOT (VH1.com) video teams.

Prototyped MTV Overdrive, one of the world's first Flash video platforms, which gave VIACOM an early lead in streaming video content online. Received the Promax BDA Gold award for Food for Thought 2006 website. Optimized websites for cross browser and platform performance. Developed and pitched the creative strategy for new projects alongside designers and copywriters. Created motion graphics, 3d content and photography to support the creative vision. Set up an Autodesk Backburner render farm, to speed up rendering for 3ds Max and animation projects.
