Create accurate and comprehensive BIM models for electrical systemsusing industry-standard software such as Autodesk Revit.Collaborate effectively with project stakeholders including architects,engineers, designers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration ofthe BIM process throughout the project lifecycle.Lead the coordination efforts between different disciplines such asstructural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural to synchronize BIMmodels and data, resolving clashes and conflicts.Manage BIM data and documentation including drawings, schedules, andspecifications.Ensure compliance with project-specific BIM standards, protocols, andguidelines, as well as industry standards to maintain consistency andquality across all project deliverables.Conduct regular reviews and audits of BIM models to identify errors,discrepancies, and areas for improvement, and implement correctiveactions as necessary to uphold the integrity and accuracy of project data.Contribute to lighting design efforts, specifying fixtures and ensuringappropriate lighting levels for different building spaces using DIALux.Design power distribution systems, including panel layouts, circuiting,and load calculations.Design and model ELV system including CCTV, Fire alarm system, andStructured cabling.Manage and update Revit models throughout the design andconstruction phases, incorporating revisions and changes as required.Strong understanding of electrical design principles, codes, andstandards.Technically capable of producing and managing LOD 300, 400 & 500 BIMModels.Prepare bill of quantities (BOQs) for electrical materials.

Responsibilities:1. Electrical Load Assessment as per IEC and CIBSE.2. LV Switchgear Design3. Detail Cable Design and selection as per IEC 60364 and BS 76714. Cable Tray, Trunking Selection and routing as per BS and local regulation.5. Lighting Design as per CIBSE standard.6. Transformer, Generator, Capacitor Bank, UPS and Circuit Breaker rating calculation, Voltage drop, Short circuit, and Lux level calculation.7. Designing of Lighting Layout, Power Layout, Earthing Layout, UPS and Raw power distribution Layout etc.8. Preparation of Electrical Main Single Line Diagram and Load Schedule.9. Reviewing of Shop drawing, Coordination drawing and Builder’s work drawing10. BOQ preparation for Site progress installation work12. Coordinating with Contractors, Consultants, Suppliers and Execution Team for the electrical Installations.

Carry out all the inspections as per the approved shop drawings and specification requirements and local regulation.  Inspect all material receiving inspections visually at the site as per the project specification and material approval issued.  Inspect all electrical first fix, second fix, and final installation inspection.  Inspection of electrical materials like cable trays, and all electrical accessories to be used and installed as per client specification, drawings and Quality manual.  Inspection of installation of wires and cables and the required megger & continuity tests. Inspect the installation of electrical equipment like LV Panels, SMDBs, DBs, MCC and control panels.  Inspect all ELV installation like fire Alarms, Emergency lighting systems, CCTV, Access Door systems, PA system etc.

Responsibilities/Accomplishments:Site visits to assess the site condition, inspections & implementations as per drawing. Listing of material requirements as per drawings & project specification and maintain the Local Authority (DM, DEWA & ETISALAT/DU) Standards throughout the works. Reviewing of single line diagram, schematic & layouts as per project specification.Preparation and submission of submittal for electrical material i.e. Switchgear, MCC Panel, Power factor correction unit, Distribution board and SMDB’s, LV cables and its termination, lighting fixture, earth & lighting protection system and getting necessary approval from Client/Consultant approval. Execution of ELV system i.e. Structural cabling, building management the system, lighting control system, SMATV system, Intercom audio/video & Fire alarm system (Fire alarm, emergency & public voice evacuation system). Monitoring the quality and progress of the work. Coordinates with QA/QC for all inspection requests (including concerned authority approval if required) and material inspection to facilitate work at the site without delays. Materials as per shop drawings. Daily site inspection and follow up on the site issues. Monitoring the testing and commissioning of the system and obtaining the approval from the Client & concern authorities.

Assigning tasks to subordinates and monitoring their performance. Identifyingcustomers’ requirements evaluating electrical drawings and ensuring properexecution. Scheduling site activities and ensuring completion of tasks within allocatedtime and resources.Monitoring installation of electrical equipment, inspecting sites, keeping a track recordof progress by preparing reports and inspection sheets etc. Dealing withcontingencies and ensuring implementation of quality management process &compliance with health and safety legislation.
