As IT Support Consultant at Ormerod Rutter, I provide day-to-day support of the IT and Telecom environment along with overseeing all IT servers and systems in the office, with an extra emphasis on staff working on client sites. I also make sure that I organise and schedule all upgrades and maintenance without deterring the users from completing their work.Furthermore, I perform root cause analysis of incidents and use adaptability, resilience, and resourcefulness to find solutions. I also ensure all staff has computers with software required for their job as well as install and configure computer hardware OSs and applications while monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.

As an IT Technical Specialist, I provided technical support and assistance to both the Head Office and field-based users. I performed call-logging and windows updates along with using remote access to perform troubleshooting when required as well as escalated customer support cases, communicated relevant information, and confirmed acceptance of the escalated issue.Putting to use my critically thinking abilities, I defined and drove the right solution to meet technical performance, scalability, flexibility, operations, and capability needs. I encrypted desktop, laptop, and external drives as well as backed-up system using Symantec backup exec.
