Community sensitization starts at village- and Community-leader levels and eventually extends to the entire population.• Elicit community involvement in case finding, referral, encouraging attendance and minimize defaulters. Follow-up issues related to low attendance rate and defaulters and the underlying problem and propose appropriate solution• Support to the Community Nutrition Volunteers (CNVs) during screening (active case finding) and linking up the CNVs with the LHW program. • Prepare activity plan for the screening exercise in consultation with the CNVs and OTP .• Seek and provide feedback on screening programme implementation schedule and activities plan as appropriate to enhance coverage and maximize impact.• Participate in the selection of the decentralized mass screening sites to ensure access and high coverage• Organize and facilitate regular community screening sessions for CNVs with the guidance of OTP Supervisors.• Regularly supervise CNVs for patient follow-up to investigate the reasons for absence and ensure the nutritional messages delivered are in adherence with the messages prepared for the program• Organizing the monthly meeting of all CNVs.• Support in managing the MTMSGs.• Ensure ongoing Community mobilization activities including satisfactory active case finding, referral & follow-ups.•

 Introduce HANDS to the local community and formation of working groups in community.  Carry out field related activities on prescribed formats. Maintaining good relation with Communities, notable and local contact to involve them in project activities and seek their support where ever required; Assist in developing a social mobilization strategy and special planning for Food For Work project; Mobilize/sensitize local communities towards Programme activities; Develop profile of village/area; Coordinate closely with the project team for timely implementation of HANDS intervention; Undertake fields visits, and surveys in order to deliver the project; Identify problems and proposes remedial action; Identify alternative courses of action and accelerate/improve project delivery; Prepare reports on the area where HANDS work can be carried out using specific tools for gathering data, prepare the evaluation phases and implement the recommendations; Submit the weekly progress report to the Manager. Participate in establishing effective monitoring, information and reporting systems, and in the development of communication materials and strategies to promote community participation, Identify, asses, select, develop and maintain referral system with local NGOs and other service providers. Preparing weekly, monthly and overall work reports under the direct supervision of project Manager
